ABOUT VITRA
Since 1935 Vitra NV is a film converting company for packaging applications with a specialization in the food industry. Quality, service, speed and reliability are the cornerstones on which Vitra is build.
Thanks to the owners', the family Laeremans, constant investments in the latest machinery and technology, Vitra is a pioneer in its market. In a production area of 17.000m² they constantly persue modernization and efficiency.
Vitra uses engraving and flexo printing techniques up to 8 colours consecutively on the most modern machinery. Lamination can be done with solvent-based adhesives or solvent-less adhesives.
To the Vitra holding, also belongs Creavit NV, which is also located on the same address. Creavit NV, is a Designer Studio and Prepress Company. Due to the close link with the production, they are highly specialized in printing and preparing designs for engraving and flexo applications.
Vitra produces two types of small sized bags and supplies roll wrappers. Printed, laminated and blank films are always delivered with the highest quality.
Vitra also has an all-new cutting department and an ingenious ink department. In the house Vitra has two laboratories. They work closely together with external laboratories in terms of control and product development.
Vitra works according to a specially drafted Vitra Quality Charter and is a member of the organization Pack4Food which meet up with the targets of inspected and highly developed packaging applications. Furthermore, Vitra works only with certified products. All films manufactured by Vitra comply with all applicable standards concerning residual solvents and migration.
The new environmental license was granted in 2005 with the maximum duration.
