SLITTING
Vitra prints a number of images in gravure or flexo press side by side. The large rolls of film are carefully slit into the sizes and specifications as requested by the customer. Vitra also slits up unprinted films.
In the recently renovated slitting department, the foils are being slit, processed and wrapped at a semi-automatic speed of 700 meters per minute.
