Bags
Vitra also produces several small sized bags, which come in different shapes. A variety of shapes such as flat bags, bags with bottom foldings or bags with side foldings, Can be produced on one of our three highly innovated bags machines.
The purpose of the bags we produce are mainly used for the packaging chocolate figures, egg cakes, pretzels, etc. However, they can also be applied for the packaging of detergents, small tools, toys and many other applications.
For the production of both blank and printed bags, Vitra uses two different processing methods:
• Sideweld (SW) bags are created by melting and simultaneously cutting the material. This method of processing is only applicable for CPP and PE. In this process, a side fold is impossible.
• CP bags, on the other hand, are created by a heating seal at the back and bottom. With this process, a side fold can be obtained.
